Pinspiration’s Unique Value
Pinspiration studios are all about creating communities of creativity. We allow our franchisees to bring their own passions into their studios by creating their own, unique craft project offerings and designing their own studios.
Pinspiration allows customers to express their own unique creativity . Our customers can choose from a menu of dozens of projects and make any project of their choosing on-the-spot. While we do offer occasional workshops, most of our customers choose to make their own craft at the time that is most convenient for them.
Because we have so many different crafts to choose from and new crafts each season, customers keep coming back again and again. Competitors like paint and sip studios struggle to achieve a high customer lifetime value because once the customer has completed the craft once they say, “been there, done that”. Our customers are craft enthusiasts, not one-time-only customers.
Our studios also benefit from many revenue streams, including DIY projects, workshops, kids’ camps, corporate team building events, parties, Girl Scouts partnerships, offsite events, the Splatter Room, wine and beer, food, and more.
Because we rotate in new crafts each season and allow each location to offer their own projects, we are highly adaptable to changing trends. This insulates us from shifts in consumer preferences and allows us to take advantage of new opportunities in the market.
Why Pinspiration May Not Be Right for You
The Pinspiration model does not fit everyone. If you only have a passion for a specific type of art, such as ceramics or painting, you may want to focus your business entirely on that passion. Our franchisees are a creative, community-building and charitable family. If you agree that crafting builds relationships, a Pinspiration franchise may be for you.
If you prefer a very simple business model that does not provide extensive training for yourself and your staff, you may prefer ceramics, paint and sip, or board painting studios to Pinspiration. Because Pinspiration has so many different revenue streams and have new crafts each season, our operations are more comprehensive.
Pinspiration studios require a VIP Room, Splatter Room, Main Studio, bar, storage area, and some specialized supplies and equipment, so our startup cost may be higher than some other, narrower concepts. If are looking for a low startup cost, a paint and sip studio or board painting concept may be a better option for you.
Whatever craft franchise you end up choosing, we are excited for you to consider a business in the creative space! Contact our franchise consulting team at franchise@pinspiration.com if you have any questions or would like to learn more.
