About the Owners
So Many Pins, So Little Time..
Rachel Jenkins: Graduated with an Associate of Applied Science in Interior Design from San Jacinto College in 2004. Worked in Residential Design for Architecture and Interior Design firms planning, researching, and selecting various aspects of client homes. Although currently retired from interior design, she’s a full-time mom of a young daughter. Rachel enjoys traveling the world and has an eye for architecture. She loves putting design elements such as colors and textures together. Rachel and Randy have been members of Woodlands Church for over 12 years.
Randy Jenkins: Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Houston in 1993 and 2003, respectively. He has worked in Aerospace and the Oil & Gas industry and held positions in Design engineering, project management, and proposal manager. Randy loves traveling with his family. When he has a chance, he enjoys working on old cars, woodworking, and trail bike riding.
Marla Meriano: Graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Minor in Sociology from the University of Houston in 1998. She worked for JCPenney as a Catalog Inventory Analyst in Women’s Shoes with an annual inventory budget of $25,000,000. Marla graduated with a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Administration in 2008, as well as, Teacher and Administrator in Crosby ISD and Humble ISD for the past 13 years. She is a mom of two grown daughters. Both girls grew up in Kingwood and are Kingwood HS grads! They both enjoy scrapbooking and crafting.
Paul Meriano: Graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston. Paul interned for and held his first full time engineering job as a project engineer for Solvay Polymers. Currently, he’s a Senior Project Manager with Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. installing industrial projects in excess of $135,000,000. He has been married since 1986 and had the privilege of raising two daughters. Paul is a Mustang Car enthusiast and enjoys all types of motorized vehicles from trains to planes. He also enjoys woodworking and home remodeling.
Meghan Meriano: Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Houston in 2015. As a Commissioned Officer in the United States Navy she has served onboard USS John S. McCain (DDG 56) from ‘15-’17 as the Electrical Officer and she is currently stationed on PCU TRIPOLI (LHA 7) as the Auxiliaries Officer. She has two dogs and enjoys creating, from woodworking to glass etching. Kingwood High School Class of 2011!
Jenkins & Meriano Connection: Randy and Paul have been friends since college. Meghan at age 5 was the flower girl for Randy and Rachel’s wedding. The two families have enjoyed traveling together and hanging out. They wanted to invest in something that both families could enjoy and contribute to its’ success.
