Keynote Addresses: Roger can kick off your convention with an entertaining and inspirational message about the traits needed to be successful both in your business and personal life.
Using one of the most popular recreational activities—bowling, Roger weaves a tale of relationships between a trip to a local bowling center to life lessons. His address is based on his soon-to-be released book “Everything I needed to be successful I learned in a bowling alley.”
Bonus: If your group chooses to have a bowling function as one of the recreational activities of your convention, Roger will emcee the event, provide lessons and generally entertain your attendees during the bowling activities.
General Motivational Speeches: Titles include:
“Basic Steps to Ethical Decision Making” – Decision making may be about crunching the numbers, but it’s also about doing the right thing.
“But That is Impossible!” – Merging is more about politics and culture than rational business.
“A View From the Other Side of the Foul Line – Lessons Learned From Working With 50,000 Volunteers” – Volunteers are an organization’s most valued asset, but can also be your biggest liability.
“Everything I Needed to Be Successful I Learned in a Bowling Alley” – Life lessons are all around us, we just need to understand them. A trip to a bowling alley is the inspiration for understanding the traits needed to be successful.
Roger will work with you to customize the presentations to meet the needs of your group and to assure the content relates to your message.
Workshops/Seminars: These sessions are adaptable to general convention seminars, board or staff training or small group meetings. One to three hour seminars are available on topics such as; mergers, decision making, working with volunteers, strategic planning made simple and developing a screening program for volunteers working with youth.
Consulting: Roger brings his extensive background in change management and executive leadership to bear on specific issues unique to your group’s goals. It can be directional advice to extensively working an issue from inception to execution. Roger will provide a different and interesting perspective from which to attack any issue.
Executive mentoring/coaching: From dealing with a 150 member Board of Directors to running an association with nearly three million members, Roger has extensive background in the politics and potholes faced by most executives during their career. As an outside ear, Roger can help the executive clarify the issue by cutting through the organizational veil, which often shields the issue from insiders.
